Plain-language summary
Drel is built to route your notifications and open your web tools. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising. Self-hosted gateways are operated by their respective owners and have their own privacy responsibilities.
Information handled by the app
Drel stores app settings, gateway configurations, notification preferences, message history, cached web-app resources, and trust decisions on your device. Depending on the feature, some settings may also be shared with Drel's notification extension through an iOS App Group.
Push delivery information
When you enable notifications, Drel receives an Apple Push Notification service device token and registers it with your selected gateway. A gateway may process the token, a per-installation push address, notification content, delivery options, and destination route in order to deliver the requested notification.
Apple also processes push delivery under its own terms and privacy policies.
Official and self-hosted gateways
The official Drel gateway is operated for app functionality. If you choose a self-hosted or third-party compatible gateway, that operator—not Drel—controls its server logs, retention, and handling of submitted notification content. Review the operator's policy before activation.
Web tools and external content
Web tools opened inside Drel can communicate with their own servers and may have independent privacy policies. Drel's first App Store release does not inject the native Bridge into remote pages. Opening a page does not authorize a sensitive native action.
Website data
This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process standard network information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and security events to provide delivery, abuse prevention, and performance services. The site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics.
Retention and deletion
On-device data remains until you remove it in Drel, clear the relevant feature, or uninstall the app. Gateway-side registration records are kept only as needed to provide push delivery and operate the service. You can remove a self-hosted gateway at any time; contact the gateway operator for deletion of server-side records it controls.
Security
Imported production gateways require HTTPS and are validated before activation. Drel separates gateway identity from per-app trust decisions. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid putting credentials or highly sensitive information in push content.
Children
Drel is a developer utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as Drel evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
